Today, The Jigger Inn is home to golfing memorabilia, crackling open-hearth fires, home-cooked food and a superb selection of Scottish beers. The pub’s own Jigger Ale is available only at The Jigger Inn, St Andrews and at The Horse & Plow at Forbes Five Star-awarded The American Club in Kohler, Wisconsin, USA.
OLDCOURSEHOTEL.CO.UKIs situated in the heart of St Andrews at 127 south street, only a 5 minute walk from our properties. In a building steeped in history once the home of Dr John Adamson, physician and pioneer photographer it then became the town Post Office from 1907 until 2011 before becoming the decadent Adamson Bar and Restaurant.
THEADAMSON.COMA relaxed pub serving food a stone’s throw from the 18th hole of the famous Old Course. Serving delicious Scottish pub food and showing sports on TV. A great place to rest you feet and have a drink whether it be a fine craft ale, a warm cup of tea or comforting hot chocolate.
OLDCOURSEHOTEL.CO.UKA 10-minute walk from our properties, Rogue is a classic cocktail which serves delicious locally sourced food. They even have a gin still at the back of the restaurant which produces their very own Felon Gin.
ROGUE-STANDREWS.COMA farm shop, café, butcher, steak barn and much more on the outskirts of St Andrews (an easy 20 minute walk from the town centre). A great afternoon out to eat, drink and relax. The walk alone is worth the trip, past the Old Course Hotel and local rugby ground, before being awarded a nice cool drink while sitting in their suntrap courtyard with a local fudge donut!
BALGOVE.COMSituated on the corner of South Street and Bell Street is where you will find Brewdog is a Scottish founded bar filled with incredible craft beer, ciders, spirits and wine. They serve great food from brilliant brunch and burgers to loaded fries and salad bowls. They do a great kid’s menu as well.
BREWDOG.COMThe Grange Inn in St Andrews is a delightful 17th-century converted farmhouse that offers fine dining for lunch and dinner. Chef Proprietor John Kelly has crafted a superb menu using the freshest local produce available. The restaurant’s cheerful atmosphere awaits you, but reservations are essential to avoid disappointment.
