About Us

Carolyn’s place in St Andrews was a great place to stay for our golf trip with 4 people. It was easily walkable to town to grab a drink and bite to eat. St Andrews Golf Course right in town as well and within reach. The other area world class courses are all within a 25 minute drive. The hot tub was a nice way to relax the muscles after each round of golf. If coming back to St Andrews we would love to stay here again.

We had a great time at Carolyn’s place – a real home from home that had everything we could have possibly wanted. It was warm and welcoming, despite the Scottish weather! The location was fabulous, ideal for strolling into town and the beaches. Would definitely visit again and highly recommend. Thanks Carolyn!

This is a beautiful property very well maintained, comfortable and in a lovely location just minutes from the town. Old Course golf club 10mins walk so everything is so convenient. No bother checking in and out and all instructions to hand. We had a lovely few days and would highly recommend this property for anyone visiting St. Andrews.

Will definitely be back. Very high standard apartment with quality fixtures, fittings and amenities rarely seen in rental/holiday homes. Everything worked and was spotless. The apartment had absolutely everything we needed. The location is great. Very walkable into town in less than 10 minutes with lots of restaurants, shops and bars. Carolyn was a fantastic host. Flexible and very responsive with communications.

This is the second time that we have stayed here and I would wholeheartedly recommend for anyone wanting to visit St Andrews, whether it be for Golf, to explore the picturesque town (City) or as a base to tour the east coast of Scotland. The apartment is clean, modern and well equipped just a short walk to the town, adjacent to the Kinness Burn. 5 stars from me

If you’re looking for a spacious, clean and modern property to stay in St Andrew’s this place is perfect. The property is fitted out with everything that you could need with a lot of extra touches to help you with your stay. You certainly don’t miss your home comforts when you stay here, you literally only need to bring your clothes and food, everything else is taken care of. The property is only a short walk from the town and the East shore beach which is perfect. We couldn’t have been more pleased with our choice.

The place was amazing! Perfect for our group golf holiday! Walking distance to all the courses, place itself was very modern and so easy to navigate! The electric lock was a massive help meaning no one had to have the keys on them and remember to unlock the door if people come back at different times! Carolyn was an amazing host helping us find local restaurants, taxi firms and other recommendations! She was very responsive and rarely took over an hour to get back to us! 5 stars from start to finish! Would definitely stay again when coming back to St Andrews!

A great location and house for my group of golfers. There were four of us and we thought the house, and hot tub, were ideal for our golf trip to St Andrews. I enjoyed getting up each morning and walking to Market street for a coffee and pastry. House was very well equipped and had everything you could possibly need. The welcome basket was a nice touch too!! I would definitely recommend this house.

Carol’s apartment was perfect for our stay in St. Andrew for our daughter’s graduation. It was an easy walk to everywhere we went wanted to visit. It was fun to walk into a place decorated for the holidays. We were also happy with the details that went into planning a comfortable stay away: a bottle of champagne and local treats, a fancy Nespresso coffee maker, double walled glasses, insulated coffee mugs, games, and loads more. I highly recommend booking with Carolyn. When I return to St. Andrews I definitely will.

Outstanding accommodation in St Andrew’s with all the amenities and within an easy walk to everything in town. Very clean and tidy with all the appointments you need. Easy parking out the front and lots of great restaurants within an easy stroll. Highly recommend to anyone travelling to St Andrew’s for either golf, the university or just an escape.

Had a wonderful stay at Carolyn’s house – excellent location, short walk to the town and beaches but in a quiet secluded close which was great for us with small children. The house is homely, decorated beautifully with top of the range appliances. Would love to stay again sometime, thank you so much!

We really enjoyed our stay at Carolyn’s place – it was really well fitted out and with lots of lovely extras The welcome basket was great as was having a coffee machine The robes and bath towels were an added bonus and fortunately we didn’t need to use the umbrellas that were provided The hot tub was fab and plastic glasses were provided for using in it I would highly recommend Carolyn place and I would definetly book again Carolyn was very responsive and proactive as a host and check in was super easy too 😄
